Okay, so everyone said Liverpool would not let Chelsea win ...

... just to prevent Man Utd winning the Title.

But I've just seen Steven Gerrard basically passing the ball to Didier Drogba in front of the Liverpool goal.

Liverpool could at least have pretended that they were trying to win !!!

Gerrard has done similar before, seems to happen when he is tired and fed up with trying to win matches on his own. Not saying We're not grateful though.... of course it just balances out the match when Wolves fielded a weakened side

Looking forward to next week Not sure we are going to get the double though... Have a feeling Portsmouth might stage an upset.
think gerrard and toress will be playing at man city next year as they will want to play in the european cup and earn top wages.
Liverpool arent a good enough team to beat Chelsea JJ-and i am a Liverpool supporter
Stevie G 'basically passing to Drogba'-wrong--stevie g's view of drogba was blocked-
if chelsea winning at anfield y;day helps stop manure winning the premiership-GREAT
A neighbour of mine said he would sooner chew his own arm off than see ManU win the title.

I've got a feeling his arm may be safe for one more season ..!

I think Gerrard will have to leave Liverpool.

He deserves to win something before he retires, and that won't happen at Liverpool.

Having said which ... if he is so tired after 33 minutes that he does things like that ... who's going to want him?
It was a good game but liverpool just didnt play as well as chelsea, gerrards backpass was just sloppy, he didnt see drogba lurking behind the defender, chelsea deserve the title this year, they have played a blinder.
Liverpool were already tired from their midweek match which went into extra time, I think the team seem demotivated as well but that could be to do with the management uncertainty thats all over the papers.
JJ-anyhow as a Brighton fan-why you talking premiership-bit alien that
as a l,pool fan i would rather see accy stanley win the prem than taggerts team.
man u didnt play all that well at sunderland either, I know they won but sunderland were no push over
cazz- and all- will next weekend bring a shock ??????
well man u have this horrible knack of getting lucky, lets hope chelsea hammer wigan, just to be sure :)

beejay ... because I just think Chelski are a bit smug

(sorry rowan ... nothing personal).

They are a small/medium team with a big sugar daddy. I'd rather Man Utd won it.
JJ-'rather manure won'-you have gone down on my list
Cazz-agree re lucky manure-what are the odds they get awarded at least one penalty next week
sorry but chelsea deserve it this year, they have a quality side, man u have been heavily dependant on rooney and the ref
Football latest...Drogba has been asked to represent the Ivory Coast in the olympics.
Their team are short of experienced divers..!

Well, I'm happy for Palace.

Whilst I would have merrily sat in G/H Block next season, singing rude songs about them ...

... I'm pleased for them that they survived yesterday.
Hi JJ !
As a Liverpool fan I'm disappointed with the whole Season let alone yesterdays result.
We are not good enough at present and there's too much turmoil behind the scenes.
Big changes are ahead this Year hopefully for the better !

redman ...

I suspect that, like Brighton, Liverpool may have to get used to life in mid-table !

this summer could / should bring changes at Anfield
