dave, f1 has not changed much at all, I have grand prixs from 80's and 90's on video, the race at donnington where senna overtook everone was largely devoid of action after those initial laps. sundays race and bahrain have probably been the most boring this year.
but dont kid yourself about formula 1, it hasnt changed at all. I have loads of races where beggar all happens, and some races where its very exciting. the most boring part of F1 in the 90s was the schumacher ferrari years where people switched off in droves
