How to rotate a video.

The delightful Carakeel was recording a video on her Droid Xperia phone, she nearly dropped the phone and in the recovery turned the phone sideways and continued recording, it appeared the right way up in the view finder but on viewing it, it is on its side. Is there any way I can now rotate this footage as I would like to upload it to youtube the correct way around.

Windows movie maker (you'll already have it installed) will rotate it.

Thanks chuck, yes I do have it installed, how did you know ive installed it?

Ok, I tried doing what the video tutorial suggested but I don't get the "rotate" option come up. Maybe Ive got a version of movie maker that doesn't support this?

Ok, I can do it on my laptop, it appears it just isnt available on the version on my PC, running xp, laptop is Vista

Yeah MS have been a pain in the proverbial with WMM, there are so many different versions of it and it's steadily been getting worse over the years...

It should still be possible though..
