Office programs

I have used Open Office for a number of years now and benn happy enough with it. Now, Which magazine is reccomending Libreoffice.
Has anyone got any views on this. Worth changing or not?

I doubt that you'd notice much difference. LibreOffice is based on OpenOffice anyway.

The only free alternative which I'd consider would be Lotus Symphony:

You can get spell-check in Open Office by going to Tools - Spelling and Grammar or by pressing F7.

I assume there is a similar feature in LibreOffice.

I agree with Chris. I have used Lotus Smart
Suite 97 for a number of years.Earlier this year
I saw an entry for Lotus Symphony which was a
free download. I have now been using it for
about 6 months and I am very happy with it.

Does OpenOffice do everything you want? If so then why change?
Familiarity is the most important feature for most people.
