I have Lidl's Silvercrest wireless mouse and have a bit of trouble getting it working. Has anyone got one of these and maybe share their views on this mouse. Thanks.

I've got the SilverCrest MTS2218-M and STMS 22.8 A1-M mice. Both came as part of a mouse/keyboard set.

Both very good for the price - no problems at all.

What problem are you having?

thanks 4candles, i inserted another fully charged battery and it seems to ok now.
Fingers crossed!
OK, good to hear.

When you say 'fully charged' - are you using a rechargeable battery? These mice become a little hesitant when the voltage drops, and of course a fully charged Nicad or NiMH is only 1·3V compared to a fresh alkaline's 1·6V.

The manual says on no account use alkaline batteries so that why i used re chargeable. I suppose manuals can be wrong , but thanks for your interest 4Candles. (i was away for a few days)
That's interesting, and very surprising.

I've seen manuals which say use alkalines and don't use rechargeables, but never the other way round.

FWIW my two devices both came supplied with alkalines, and the manuals don't mention rechargeables.

I'm really intrigued now - may I ask the model number of your mouse?

Model Number OMC807-C
The mouse came with a charging cradle to be used when mouse not being used .
Perhaps the mouse model you have does not have the charging cradle. The manual can be read on WWW.SILVERCREST.CC . I see that you got the mouse/keyboard set. I just got the mouse.
Ah, thanks, porkchop.

AB is certainly educational - I'd never heard of a mouse with a recharging cradle.

Couldn't find anything on 'silvercrest.cc', but http://www.service.targa.co.uk/ seems to cover all Silvercrest stuff.

Anyway, glad you're sorted now. :)
