Can anyone tell me whether it's technically worthwhile upgrading from BT Home Hub 1.5 to 3? Mine's working perfectly well at the moment - but would I get faster data connection / WiFi etc with a newer model?

TIA

The only real benefit is the HH3 supports wireless N, which will give faster wireless speeds, but only if the devices connecting to it also support wireless N

Although having faster wireless will not improve your internet speed as even with the older wireless your internet speed will still be slower than your wireless speed. if you often copy large files...

I can't tell you the numbers, but we just upgraded BT Home Hub to fibre optic as it's now available in our area, and we have wifi and a very much faster connection.
