Dodgy keyboard
7 Answers
I have an Acer aspire notebook which is only 8 months old but the keyboard is malfunctioning. When I am typing I look up and find that the cursor has jumped back and my words are going into the previous sentence.
It is very frustrating and I don't know what is causing this. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated'

I presume you finish the previous sentence with an 'enter', not move your cursor down with a mouse or pad.

I think Hopkirk could be right. Another way to improve the situation is to buy a cheap netbook cooler (Poundland). Even if you don't plug it in to USB port to power the fan, when positioned under you Acer you will find that the keyboard is tilted towards you rather than being horizontal and this prevents you from inadvertently touching the mousepad while typing.
I've had one for a couple of years (fan still going strong!) and find it better to type with keyboard tilted rather than "flat".
