My volume icon has disappeared from the bottom of computer? I can't for the life in me remember where to retrieve it??

Has it hidden itself ? Click on left pointing arrow on bottom string to reveal hidden icons.

Right-click on your taskbar
Select 'Properties'.
With the Taskbar tab active, click on 'Customize'
Click on 'Volume'
Change 'Behaviour' to 'Always Show'
Click OK > Apply >OK

I've done all that but still no icon?OH went on it last & god knows what hes done??
