Is This Laptop Good Value?

It looks pretty good value to me. While you can get laptops under £300, they don't have too many bells and whistles on them. Have a look in a Tesco Extra if you have one nearby. They are easy to deal with and if there is any problems, there never seems to be any difficulties if you need to return any item.
The Core i5 CPU is a good CPU, but note the Argos site says "dedicated graphics card" which is not true.
So not good if you want to play anything but the most basic games.
Note it only has "Windows 8" rather than "Window 8 Pro" but if you are a basic user this will probably not bother you.
I think this is a decent laptop for £349 though there are a few other places doing it for that price or a little more so I don't think it is a bargain.
Probably old stock that Acer are trying to get rid of (though there is nothing wrong with that).

>>>How do you know that the Argos site is wrong about the graphics?
Because I read the review for it on other web sites.
This may not be a big problem as intel have been putting better and beter graphics inside their CPU, so even the basic graphics are now pretty good.
I noticed at the bottom of the Argos site they have the number 4712196448394.
I think this like the ISBN number for books so searching the web for 4712196448394 finds a number of sites with details of this laptop.
There is a Q&A for the laptop here which mentions it does not have a dedicated graphics card.
