Avast Blocking My External Hard Drive

My Avast demanded to be updated yesterday, so I did. Now when I plug my external hard drive in (a little Maxell portable) nothing comes up and I can't back things up. I assume these two events are connected as there was no trouble till today.

Is there any way to tell Avast to permit it? Or of restoring the earlier Avast? (Though I assume the latter would be risky.)

(Please don't advise installing MSE instead as I had the same trouble with it in the past; that's why I installed Avast in the first place.)

I found the list of back exercises the fizzio gave me so I've decided to start doing them again. In the meantime I could do with a good rub down with that fol-de-rol stuff.

Good day each and every. Been busy, got up,late, did grocery shopping, had brekkie, then wentmon an islandmhunt for a tagine. Finally found one in a Moroccan street, it felt really like being in a foreign country, then we went to lidl but not a lot there, so wentmto little village called Es Cana (of the canes) and had a few drinks in the sun on a quiet bar on the beach. Now gome and Mr N is making a moroccan something or other with pita bread using the tagine! I have had a lovely bath!
Poor cat still as mad as ever and now sleeps on the pedestal mat in the bathroom which rather surprised me in the middle of the night when I went to powder my nose! But she still purrs and eats and seems happy enough, so we will wait a while.

Dreadful rain in Dubai, flooding, and last night in the restaurant where hija works,they all we outside and danced in the rain, thats my child! Thats what i love doing!

Evening all
It's been another lovely sunny day but that east wind is very chilly.
I was brave though and put me jacket on and poodled around outside in the garden for a couple of hours with a sit down now and again so I only actually did about an hours work ..lol. At least I've deadheaded and cut back the hydrangeas,pulled up some weeds and had a sweep round. I'm still staring at the bare back fence and deciding what to plant to cover it.
Hope your woofer is ok now Woofy and that you're all fine and dandy.

Happy Mothers Day to whom it may concern! Doesnt concern me yet, ours is in May!
Had to go and look at a shared flat for hija to rent, 600€ a month,shes sharing with a male couple. The place was spotless just like a show home, boy are they in for a surprise! Was nice though. We've now got the keys.
Then we drove around Ibiza town but nowhere to park so we went round the island and ended up at Sta Agnes so stopped for yea olde famous tortilla lunch, tis yummy. Now home and catching up on my missing hour's sleep.

Oh that's great Neti.I did hope she'd be in it again.I wonder if "Clark"will do the right thing and get her home from Russia .The swine! I'm looking forward to watching it .
Been another nice day here although a bit hazy .
We went out for lunch to the little restaurant in the High St. and had a lovely home cooked Sunday roast and dessert. Very nice.Proper yorkies and roast potatoes,none of that frozen stuff ..lol.

Good morning...what day/time is it? I've lost all track but it's been a lovely weekend. Sis came on Saturday and helped me in the garden and it's looking the best it's been this early in the year since I can remember. It was very mild and sunny, a couple more degrees would have been nice but we did peel off a layer or two and actually ate outside. Hopefully Tarquin & bro-i-l are coming tomorrow to level and move some slabs....we weren't stroganoff to do jobs like that. :)

Yesterday was a bit fresh and breezier but still pleasant enough. The mini demolition squad came, high as kites, Tarquin had bought them chocolate biscuits on the way here. Thanks for that. :)
I was soo tired last night I fell asleep watching Vera so I'll have to catch up sometime.

Good morning all. Lovely and sunny here. Same.old, same.old. couldn't get up today as mad cat had me up every 20 mins and have a raging wisdom tooth ache.
