They are all pretty much the same but an iPad is an apple product so (I think) they are really over priced (however I am on my second because I love it). Between them my kids have a Nexxus and Kindle Fires which they can do everything on that I can do on an iPad and I have a Linx coming for Christmas. They all have different operating systems - mine is IOS, and I think the others are Android and Windows (none of which I can work). Go to w shop and try some out and see which you like the best.
Thank you . I am not very computer savvy so have no clue at all about these. I want to get my partner one for Christmas and have no idea what I am looking for !
What sort of phone does he have - maybe you could get a tablet with the same operating system? I can only use iOS (because that's what I'm used to) but himself can only use Android, going to need the help of the teenager to get the Linx tablet working.
Which mobile phone does he have? If he has an Iphone then it might be worth getting him an Ipad but if he has a Samsung phone then maybe a Samsung or other Android tablet would be better. Keeping the operating system the same across the board tends to be a good idea.
Not sure on what your budget is but John Lewis do a nice 10.1" Sony tablet at a good price.
You will get a 2 year warranty and can even claim some cash back.
Combining the best of Sony's TV and audio technologies, the slim and light Xperia Z2 delivers a top level multimedia possibilities in a travel friendly 10.1-inch tablet. The best of entertainment:
I use my tablet for non-serious stuff - like surfing the net & playing childish games. Their lighter than a laptop and more portable (and there's just something cool about them). I couldn't use mine for serious stuff, but that's just me. (Mind, I v rarely do serious stuff).
iAnything is a brand name. It means you are paying over the odds for a trusted name. You can't really ask the difference between a specific brand of something , and something generic.
