Tomorrow I switch from Orange broadband to BT infinity and should go from 2mb/s to 38mb/s, thanks for all of your help on my previous thread about this and here's hoping to a faster service.

PankySmooch, I think you are on a winner. Your new connection hasn't yet settled down and you are getting in effect 15 times the speed you had with Orange.

I am fairly confident that you will hit the speed that BT has told you of 38mb and it is even possible that you will exceed the figure.

Keep us up-dated in this thread.

OG, as it has already been explained BT is the best simply because they own the line that other companies use to give you their signal. Why are you so dead set against Direct Debit when it is the ideal way to guarantee payment is made regularly & enables you to forget reminders etc.? I personally pay all bills by d/d & find it most convenient.
