How are you sending (and attempting to receive) the emails? Using a web-based system (accessed through your web browser)? Using an email client (such as Outlook Express, Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail)? Using a dedicated phone app?
Have you checked your email providers' spam folders? (That's particularly important if you're not using a web-based system, where you'd probably see that there was content in a spam folder anyway. Log into your email via your web browser and look to see if anything is wrongly being blocked as spam).
If you're using Windows Live Mail you won't see a 'Spam' or 'Junk' folder because you email provider will have blocked the mail from reaching WLM. As stated above, you need to log into your email via your provider's website (using your browser) to look for it.
Hotmail became Outlook.com. Windows Live Mail is a computer program (not an email provider) which can be configured to send and receive email with any email service (using either POP3 or IMAP protocols). So it can be used with Gmail, Yahoo Mail and countless other services. Such services BLOCK spam BEFORE sending it to Windows LIVE MAIL, so the ONLY way that it can be viewed is by logging in to the provider's website.
well now I'm confused. if I put windows live mail sign in into google then it takes me straight to my outlook(hotmail) account and it has a junk folder. Never mind, I digress.
I can't understand why, if I send a message to a correct e-mail address, it doesn't get there ! And his emails don't reach m'e and the only way I can read them is to go to ( in my case) the Virgin Media website to find them !
