I have dropbox and an (inbuilt?) cloud thingie on my HP computer running windows 8.1.
They seem to do pretty much the same thing so can I uninstall one as I understand running both may slow my computer down? To be honest I haven't noticed that it has but I don't like having too much to confuse me as I'm really, really a thicko when it comes to computers.-I may have to go ou shortly so I'm not being rude if I don't reply immediately to any answers. Thank you

I don't know about the icloud but I do have dropbox. The disadvantage is I definitely think it slows my laptop down as it's constantly searching for updates/new pics. The advantage is if I take a picture on my phone, tablet it automatically copies to dropbox so it's there for use on any device I have dropbox installed on such a laptop. It's a very useful tool for transferring photos.
