What is the best AV software around at the moment?
Got a new pc which came with 1 month of Mcafee, but that is just about to run out.

Goofy,...beware....McAfee has to be properly removed after end of freebie trial...see here, I got some good advice last night...

Avast is the reported to be the best free anti-virus program. Kapersky the best paid for version. Use with Malwarebytes, Adblock plus and have flash as "ask to activate", surf net with limited user account, don't use java if possible.
