Does anyone recall a child's gadget that enabled them to place a photo/picture under a magnifying screen so that they could copy it? I believe the screen could be adjusted to give a larger result if required.I was hoping that there was one that accepted A4 size sheets.Thanks.

Got one in the attic - can't remember the name, but give me a minute....
An epidiascope, needed a buddy big tungsten bulb
Usually a big wooden box effort with a lens
All very well till theheat from the bulb made the pages of paper curl!

Latest iteration came out about 2005, called a visualiser, promoted widely by the commercial reps, but really only any good in FE lecture theatres.

Thanks Tuvok, that was quick.Although that gives a result it's not quite what I had in mind.If you can imagine something similar to a light box but with a magnifying screen mounted in someway over it so that it can be adjusted to and away from the light source to vary the magnification.Clear as mud I know.
