Ipad And Iphone 6 Linked....

Hi, I've tried to Google solution to this problem. But no luck, so here I am.
Ok, had an IPad 2 for a couple of years, then beginning of year bought an IPhone 6+, now, don't really use iPad anymore, so let my daughter watch her Netflixprogs on it, but whenever I receive a text/whatsapp of even a Facebook message it pops up on to the top of her screen on the iPad?
I'm not technical, but I suspect they are linked together through iCloud or some such thing, but I wonder if it's possible to prevent my messages etc. From popping up on the iPad? Even when my phone rings, the bloody iPad rings!!
Not that I've got 'stuff' to hide, but I would like messages from other people to be private if necessary?

On the iPad you should have signed out of iCloud and erased all settings for someone else to start from new.

Hi. Well. Not really wanting to do that. Because it's still my iPad, and everything on it is linked to me. I just let her use it now and then to watch programmes on a bigger screen than her iphone5
But. That aside, there must be a way of preventing messages/calls appearing on both devices? Surely?

You can remove WhatsApp on the iPad by pressing the icon and touch the X to delete.

Also on the iPad go to Settings and Messages and turn off iMessages.

Also delete Facebook on the iPad.

To turn off iPhone cellular calls on your iPad go to Settings and FaceTime to turn off the iPhone's Cellular Calls.
