How can I restore a list of tunes back to numerical order? Say I copy a list of a dozen tunes, numbered from 1 to 12 on to a flash drive or card. They all appear in order on the drive. But if I remove the drive from the PC and re insert it, the list is all there but the numbers are completely out of sequence. Any ideas what causes this and how to restore the numerical order?
Many thanks

Have you tried this? Right-click near the files, move your mouse over the SORT BY option, then go to MORE and click on that. There should be an option near the top with a HASHTAG - # on it. Click the HASHTAG where you have Name / Title / # / Contributing Artist etc. and see if the files sort themselves into the correct order. If not, you'll have to right-click on the individual files and go to PROPERTIES tab and then the DETAILS tab, there is a HASHTAG on it - put in the numerical value (To the right) and then either APPLY or OK. When you've done them all click on the HASHTAG and it should work.
