I know it's working because it does on my tablet.
But on my lap-top, it jumps from middle of screen to top left hand corner, gives me a list of options/predictions but then nothing. It doesn't search. I'm on IE if that's important. I've tried shutting the lap-top off and back on. (rebooting?)
Perhaps if I could 'go back' a week or two, if you know what I mean, but can't remember how to do that. Ta.

You could try download / install an alternative web browser, for example www.opera.com or www.firefox.com. As for the IE problem you could try running it in 'Safe-Mode' with with no add-ons loaded. To run in safe-mode, depending on your version of Windows try clicking 'Windows Start' then in the run/search box type "iexplore -extoff" and press OK.

If that works ok then it is most likely an add-on that is the problem but it should allow you to download and install another web browser type.

Thank you, pinky. Since I posted, I seem to have got it back using 'system restore'. (after a couple of failures) ;o)
Yes having problems on my desktop too where it won't search. Also on IE but works on iPad.
The issue is nothing to do with IE as it happens on other browsers and very irritating it is too. I've never found a reason for it
My guess would be there's an error on the site that is not getting caught properly. Perhaps specific to a particular server. It never seems to last long.
