I have just looked. Mine is a Samsung NC110. I will see what is on offeer at the moment though it has probably been superceded since I bought it.

I still use my 4 year old Samsung NC10 netbook. It has wifi built in and I've upgraded it from W7 starter to W10 without problems.

hc....I just want something I can use the internet with...last night I got locked out of here, and screen said go to www...blah blah,....and I couldn't. So there's one reason...apart from that I would use it for coming on here, also Facebook, Amazon, Email, Ebay....I think that just about covers my lifestory

So why not another laptop?

Have you tried resetting your current laptop to factory settings? That usually cures any nasties that are lurking and will put it back to the state it was in when you bought it. It seems a bit extreme to buy another machine when your current one is capable of working properly.

but I want something small + less bulky than laptop , so I can use it sitting down, or sitting up in bed ;)

Okay. The problem with a tablet is that you have to hold it in one hand unless you have a way of propping it up.
How much do you want to spend?

At that price look at the Kindle Fire or the Tesco Hudl, if you can find one as Tesco no longer sell them.
