Web Cam On Desk Top

After having a web-cam chat ---the blue light on the camera goes out when the call has ended. This morning it has stayed on ---and is still on as i type!! Reason please anyone.

Have you actually closed your web chat session? Has the other end closed their session?

If you're really troubled and can't see a way round it, use a little sticking plaster, but remember to mute your mic or whisper as They Can Still Hear You.

Unplug it when you are not using it?

jenny if it's built into the laptop it needs to be switched off via the laptop's options rather than unplugged

Switch off and reboot computer.
