Factory Reset Macbook Pro

Hi A/bs My macbook pro is now 3 years old and I would like to sell it, can any kind person tell me how reset it so to erase all my proved details bank ect and I would like to go back to microsoft.

Thank you Sycamore3hous for your prompt reply, I followed your thread but all I got was an icon of my hard drive with an arrow, clicked on this and it loaded my desktop . tried 3 or 4 times without success, but again thanks Rick

I think beso is joking. It is true you can install Windows but why would you?

Go to the app store.
Go to Updates.
Install latest version OSX 11 El Capitan.
You will be prompted whether you want to update your present setup, or install as a new machine.
Do the later.
