Tiggy had a friend sharing his supper last night. I await events with interest.

Just over a week until I head for DT and LJ's patch to stay with my wee sister for a week. I'm looking forward to that.

Good morning WB, and the same to you ummmm. Still and calm here this Sunday morn. Chill factor made my feet cold as they poked out of the duvet.
I assume boaty that you are going to the Emerald Isle?

Morning David. All most. Cornwall. It is very much like Ireland in many ways.

How are you this morning?

I appear to be fine as am horizontal with iPad thank you. Cornwall and I have seen each other often. My brother lives there, so many a free holiday there.
Hope you are well, as I know that you endure, and do not complain.
I, always opine if disgruntled, mostly when I'm awake.

Thank you David. It's true enough, but no point in giving in is there.

I love Cornwall. Vera and I used to go there when she could no longer travel to Ireland. We were both pleasantly surprised at the similarities to parts of Ireland.

I very nearly bought a bungalow there. But upon reflection being too close to bro for too long might be problematic. Nice countryside very green. Must go to Ireland one day. Had several near misses.
Fancy a quaint fictional village as in the quiet man film. But reality is not like that.

David A good first visit to Ireland Could be Waterford, where I come from. A small, laid back city, with one of the best restaurants I have known.

How are you this morning? And mum of course. I'm sure she had a lovely time yesterday.

mum phoned around 7.30 , had a lovely day watching the bowling was being waited on hand and foot ..nice meal..free drinks and about to have a game of bingo !! will phone around 8am see what time she got home....got the shed painted yesterday morning but now have patches of brown in various shades down arms and hands..can't get the stuff off completely..will need a scrub with white spirit..that will keep the midges away !! overcast here but warmer..had a snow flurry yesterday...picking mum up ..if she is up to it....and heading out somewhere for a day out and lunch..hands and back need a day off...

can't work in gloves...and sleeves get in the way anyway the stuff just runs down your arms when painting above waist height.... that's all the jobs I hate done now..patio washed, shed painted , gravel and bark replaced..planting and potting up in a few weeks time, still too chilly and frosty, and weeding /cutting grass from here on...

Hope Boaty has his passport all current for coming over the Tamar.

Will watch a bit of the marathon today - the fiancé of my g-daughter is running in this and he's having a go at breaking the world record for running a marathon dressed as a bottle. He's learning the master-brewing trade with his brewing co and has just launched his first beer.....anyway the company has invested a grand in this special suit for him to allow him flexibility and for it to breath...
