Compatible Cartridges

Has anyone used them on a Canon Maxify MB2350 (or very similar) printer without problems,
if so, from which company ?

I'm doing a lot of colour printing & its costing me an arm & a leg.

Not a Canon but I have used compatible cartridges in my printer without any problems.

Thanks Zacs, but these are artworks I'm working on & adjusting all day; I need to be hands-on.
I think Chris once said he uses compatibles but I don't know which printer he has. I think Canon make superb printers, but the cost of ink is very high, I'm paying around 20€ per cartridge.

As you suggest, Khandro, I do indeed use compatibles but I also research the cost of inks before buying a printer, which tends to help quite a bit when it comes to saving money! Even with compatibles, there can be a very big difference in prices between those for some printers and for others, even from the same manufacturer.

For example, a full set of ALL FIVE inks for my last printer (a Canon Pixma MG5350), from my preferred supplier (Inkredible), cost just £11.64 (with a further discount for quantity too). When I had to replace that printer, I looked for something with equally cheap inks but had to settle for a Canon Pixma MG5750, where the inks are a little dearer but (at £15.54 for a full set of ALL FIVE inks, with quantity discounts) still excellent value. However I do know that compatible inks for some Canon printers can cost quite a bit more than that; a full set of all five cartridges for your printer from Inkredible comes to £29.70: https://www.inkredible.co.uk/canon-maxify-mb2350-ink-cartridges

At about six quid per cartridge though, that's still a hell of a lot cheaper than you seem to be paying at the moment! I've been using inks from Inkredible for many years, with no problems whatsoever, and I'm completely happy to recommend them to you. I have Canon Pixma - cartridges are unbelievably pricey - so expensive you would be better buying a new printer LOL

I printed a Santa photo of my friend's grandchildren - 15 g'children and Santa last year and of course kiddies were dressed up in all colours.

Only one photo and my colour level went right to practically nil.

I also done another stupid thing - I printed in black and white I think insurance documents emailed to me about 15 pages and it took me right down too.

don't know whether it would work for Canon printers but i get cheap compatible cartridges for my epson printer from Amazon

that was my last printer Epsom - cartridges were cheap as chips. But Epsom printer died a death.

Much as I love Canon printers, the TS3150 is one that I'd never suggest buying, simply because of the cost of inks! You've fallen into the trap of buying a printer that uses only two ink cartridges, rather than one that uses separate cartridges for each colour, plus a further cartridge (or pair of cartridges) for black ink(s). Multi-cartridge printers can cost a few pounds more to buy initially but you can then save a fortune on inks thereafter as, somewhat oddly, it can cost a lot less to buy loads of cartridges than buying just two. (Having said that though, you still need to research the costs of buying inks for multi-cartridge printers before choosing a suitable model; they're not necessarily all cheap to run).

Sorry, I can't find any cheap inks for the TS3150 :(
