Hi Guys.
I have an AOL USB ADSL modem (Broadband) connection. My ADSL USB modem shows in Network Adaptors (Device Manager). There is also another adaptor listed as PPPoEwin Miniport. Can anyone please tell me what it is exactly. On checking I got a message box stating that this adaptor could not be deleted as it may be needed for Windows boot up (?).
Enabled or disabled it dosint seem to make any difference. Would it be for an Ethernet connection or perhaps Networking (which Ive never done as yet).

Thanks.

PPPoE is a networking term, yes. What exactly it is on your computer I'm not totally sure, but it sounds like a network card.
