I have always been accustomed to having a little green box with right facing arrow followed by the word go at the right side of the address line. Now this has changed to a box with the twin green curly refresh arrows followed by a box with a red italic cross in it. What is going on?

Could it be that Internet Explorer has been upgraded to version 7 ?
that's exactly why this has happened!

you don't need the green go button anyway - just type the address you want to go to and hit enter.

incidentally... if you start to type an address into the address bar, the refresh button turns into a go button!

(and the red cross is the stop button)
