Work offline problem

I'm using IE7 and have a problem that keeps reoccuring.

When I'm online I'll suddenly get a message box that I'm offline. When I click on the Tools tab Work Offline is ticked and I have to untick it to carry on.

Has anybody any idea why this is happening and how to stop it?

It is probably due to an add-on toolbar.
Try clicking start>program files>accessories>internet explorer (no add-ons) and see if your problem disappears.
If it does you can then manage the add-ons and remove any you don't need/want.
You do this by selecting in Internet Explorer Tools>Manage Add-ons>enable/disable add-ons. What you could do is to disable all of the add-ons and enable them one by one until the problem reappears.
