opening photos
when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Morning Biddyfriends everywhere. Raining and dull here and here's me thinking the sun was going to come out. Never mind I can drive to Fuchsia's for my cuppa. We haven't got back into routine yet since Christmas. Then it'll be a walk to Pride P. later whatever the weather.
Have a good weekend all. See yer later 'gaters.

Morning gadabouts...soggy Derby calling
...yes, it's a horrible dark morning Jude. I've got plenty of sorting out to do but hate doing it with the light on in the daytime. Enjoy the match!
I know what you mean shaney, it takes me ages to get ready to go anywhere these days.... Is you who likes Idris Elba? He was on Graham Norton's show (love or loathe him he does have some great guests) last night and came across as a lovely, funny entertaining guy. Olivia Coleman was on, I like her, she's funny too.

good whateveritis all. Neti so sorry to hear about your friend, I always think its so sad when parents outlive a child. The dogs decided that lat night was a good night to hunt the garden so we all has a lie in this morning which was nice. I left the garden door open for them while I was having coffee and drying off after shower but they have made it quite clear that they want the door SHUT please so they can get some kip wit none of that nasty fresh air.
I hope you are all feeling less creaky today.
I have been finishing off next christmas's decs. They are made of a dough that is cinnamon, apple puree and glue and dried in the oven, they smell of cinnamon

lol Robi, I started making them in December but didn't get them decorated. I was soooo tempted to put them away to finish next christmas but realistically I knew I wouldn't. I am doing that thing where you are supposed to finish something every day and I have run out of chocolate and can't start on the alcohol till after sundown!
not sure where I will hang them, they are a bit big for my tree which is a small one, also they need to hang somewhere warm so you get the scent. yes, i wouldn't want to have them within the reach of toddlers, they do look exactly like biscuits. they aren't toxic but I don't think they would do your insides much good!
nice dinner with the jadefiend - he had a few items with him (he insisted they were the rubbish ones that he hadn't been able to sell), and they looked beautiful. He is a very contented man - he started learning Chinese as well as jade carving in China, speaks it well, and enjoys standing in shop queues listening to the assistants discussing how they're going to rip off the round-eye.
Good win, good walk both ways, eating fish and chips and watching Liverpool playing in the telly. What could be better than that. Well winning the lottery would round the day off nicely .
I like Graham Nortons show. Not him particularly but he does have so e good guests on and he does talk to them quite decently.
I'm so sorry for your friend Neti. What an awful thing to happen. Dreadful when children go before their parents.
I don't know what to watch on the telly later. I went right off Silent
Witness last night it was very violent. I thought the first one I saw the other week wasn't too bad but this weeks.. No no no.
Anyway, hope you all have a good night. Laters 'gaters!

The poor lad had booked a venue only on Thursday for his wedding this year, his poor fiancee must feel so gutted. It makes me so sad to imagine her pain.
On the happy side, Mr N made a delish fish pie, it was cod ( I think, merluza)with winkles, sweetcorn, onions and peas, with a lovely grilled cheesy mash. So nice, I could get used to him being at home.
