opening photos

when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

More worries. There was an illness killing dogs in the New Forest last year between december and march, none of the usual ones and no cure, it causes kidney failure. It went and we thought we'd seen the end of it but its back :(

he didn't have any of the serpents with him but he did have some of the mobius ones and harmony pendants, and they were lovely. Hard and soft at the same time, if you know what I mean.

Heavens woofy that is worrying, how do the dogs catch it, just by sniffing things or in the air, or what, that must worry you.

They don't know, they think its water or air born, which, given the filthy state of the forest at the moment, is wonderful. It has started in the same area of the forest as last time, which is quite a way away from me but later in the outbreak, a dog, who had only been walked locally to me, died of it.
They think they know the bacteria that causes it but haven't found any trace of it in any of the dead animals and can't say where the bacteria might have come from. If it is a bacteria, maybe it can be carried on car tyres or dirty wellies....

I'm still up in spite of having got up a 5.30 this morning .Trouble sleeping lately .
The little brain I have left goes into overdrive the minute I lay my head on the pillow .

Oh no Robinia ..it's awful .I usually sleep ok -ish ..but this last week or so I've tossed and turned every night all night long .I wake up feeling like I've been put through the wringer .No wonder I cba with much .
I get a crick in me neck and shoulder because I scrunch myself up .Then my hip aches and my knees throb,then my legs and feet itch ...bggr ....if it wasn't so chilly I would lay on the floor like a starfish :)

I'm just the same, my legs hurt so much they sting,if I uncover them I get cold. My innards are griping and churning and I'm scratching like a mangy mutt.

Oh gawd ..I've had the churning today too .Mind you that could be from scarfing the fresh rolls I bought at the market and a slice of bun round filled with cream and jam .Very naughty but nice ...in fact there's a bit left and I may just eat it and hang the consequences :)

Well biddies, did you finally sleep? I went to bed at 2am but was watching CBB.

When I can't sleep I worry for England and get myself in a state. Mr N says I look for things to worry about.

Morning all....yes, finally got a bit of shuteye (hope you did too shaney) but it must have been well past 3 before I did. I'd been in bed from 11ish, I don't stay up downstairs because if I do nod off I've still got to get up and go to bed...which wakes me up. I go through phases like this but I sleep much better in the summer when everyone else is complaining about the heat or light. Yes neti, I'm the same, I worry if I'm not worried.

Nice morning now that the sun's come out...just waiting for the washer, apparently most of tomorrow's going to be foggy :(

Good morning all, bright and chilly here. We are having a phase of dogs wanting to hunt the garden at all hours of the night. I am encouraging it because it means they don't need a day walk and I am anxious to keep them out of the forest as much as possible.

It's dull and gloomy here .I did get to sleep and got up very late .
Now I'm trying to catch up with myself .I've had several cups of tea but still can't get going !
