I downloaded some things off of Ares but i have some files what are taking up 4.40gb i want to get rid of them but i get an error! HELP!

I downloaded some things off of Ares but i have some files what are taking up 4.40gb i want to get rid of them but i get an error! HELP!
The files have the word "Arestra" Before the name of the file and then i get the error saying that its open in another program when it is not open. How can i get rid of these files.

The files are locked by Ares because it hasn't finished downloading them. You need to cancel the downloads before deleting them.
