Hi I have the Free version Has any body had request to upgrade from 6.5 to 7.0 not sure how to contact or if it will still be free any advice would be welcome Thanks in anticipation Tez

The latest version of free Zone Alarm was released in January.

And can be found here

Just make sure you click on the free basic version.

Download to your desktop and then when installing choose the repair option which will upgrade your current version

pauln90 Thanks very much for your help all done and dusted.Hope I was right to send old version to recycle.
Just one more thing am I right to keep things like this Program in my documents file or do I need to put them away in dedicated folders ? somewhere else on my PC Thanks again Tez

The method I outlined updates Zone Alarm so dont delete the old files.

I have a folder which I created in My documents and leave such downloads in there

There is no real need to keep to program you downloaded from zone alarm once you have installed it , you can keep a copy on a cd if you like incase you need to reinstall at any time, but it is freely available on the the net.

Hi Thanks Paul & Alf I couldn't seem to go into the repair section on download and I finished up with the old and the update I will however restore from recycle and leave old in my docs thanks again for help Tez
