Java is not working on my pc

I have downloaded java several times now but it is still not working, i am trying to get into th pogo site, but keeps telling me not working, any ideas pls? I have cleared out all my cookies etc. Thanks

Have you actually enabled it in your web browser?
Tools/Internet Options/Security
Click the advanced button, scroll down the list, and look for mentions of Java and scripting, and ensure that they are not set to Disable.

hi i did what u said and clicked on security but ther was no advance tab to click on. Any more thoughts please.

Sorry, blame MS' inconsistent button labelling. The button is not called "Advanced", it's called "Custom"
