Windows Vista arggggggg

Hi there my laptop which has Vista on it when I bought it is giving me so many headaches. So many of my programmes which worked great on XP do not work properly on vista. I had to do a system recovery because one of my progs messed up windows. Just installed Downloader Accelerater Plus and had to uninstall it as windows vista had probs with it.
Anyone know a similer programme which works with vista.

the price of new technology ... do you still have the old machine?

if you do ... download the WindowsVistaUpgradeAdvisor
and run it on your old machine .... it will at least give you an idea of what will and won't work.
there is also a (microsoft) "list" of progs.

Are you using the same downloaded programs on your Vista that you downloaded for your XP? If so they're not going to work, try new downloads of the programs you want. I havent come across anything yet that won't work on Vista and I use mine a lot for all sorts of stuff including business. We don't ride around on horses and carts anymore so why not move on with operating systems as well. Keep trying liquidsuite, you'll get there! If you get your downloads from Download.com they'll tell you if they're Vista compatible or not
