AMV Files

Hi
I am trying to convert video files on my laptop into AMV files to download to my MP4 player. I have the small disc that came with the MP4 player but when I put it in my disk drive it will not autorun and when I try to do it manually, I have no drive E:\ coming up to click on to open the file i need to load.
Could someone tell me where to find the E:/ drive as i did get to it once last week and now i can't get there for love nor money! ?

right you lot, leave me to struggle on my own tut, well ha ha I managed to get the disk to load and now i have managed to do the convert programme and converted the video files to something that will play on my mp4, thing is, i didn't want to conveert them to mp3 audio files i wanted to watch the videos, so hence, I am still not where i need to be. Anyone know what i have done wrong?
