mac!

ok, i'm moving from a pc to a mac. i want to move all my itunes songs from my pc to the mac. i have all my songs on an external harddrive but when i usb it to my mac, the mac won't recognise it so i can't connect my songs. ive tried re-starting. any ideas? thanks x

Won't recognise the drive? Does it show on the desktop?

If so, click it and press command-I (the apple button), and where it says 'format', report back what format the drive is in.
