elevated tray to put laptop on?

I apologise if this is not the right place for this question!

I work from home on my laptop often for 12 hours at a time. What I am looking for is an elevated tray to fit over my lap so that I can place my laptop on it and won't need to stretch my arms or lean forward so much. I do a hell of a lot of typing so this would be a great help to making me more comfortable whilst I am sitting on my sofa. If it is unclear what I want, those trays that fit over the beds in hospitals spring to mind. Does anyone know of anything I could purchase at all?

Have a look at a lap top tray used for eating off one's lap on a couch or in bed. They comprise a 'tray' surface, about 38cm by 30cm, with attached polystyrene-bead filled cushion underneath. They are not all that common nowadays but can be got, and are very comfortable.

Thanks very much, derrynoose. I did look on ebay before I posted but was struggling for the correct search term to use. Upon looking at what you suggested I have found a lot of possibilities on ebay now :)
Ikea do a half-decent stand called "Dave".

Though, if you're using it for so long, you really shouldn't be sat on the sofa. You'll end up with all sorts of back and neck problems.

You want to have the screen at eye level, with your body in a correct position, meaning that you shouldn't be arching forward.

I have a laptop, and at home on my desk I use a Griffin Elevator stand, together with a separate keyboard and mouse.
