Google DVD Shrink and download it.
Make sure it's Freeware though, don't need to pay for it.

thanks for the reply.
the problem i think i might have is that i have nay on 1.5gb of just jpegs and i want to be able to burn them all to a dvd and give them to the ex-wife. i want her to be able to simply download them onto her pc then i can delete them off my pc knowing she has them ok. will dvd shrink allow me to do this

Well you could just burn then to 2 or 3 CDs or you could by a USB pen drive and transfer them on to that. However, if you want to burn them on to a DVD (youll only need one) then tell me what software you are using and the make of your DVD RW drive (presuming you do have one!)

DVD shrink will not help
