I want to print out some photos, they look ok on screen but when they're printed they are too pink. I didn't use the printer for a while and then I tried compatible ink. Could this be the cause of the problem? Thanks a lot.
Cheap inks may cause very slight colour shifts but they're usually hardly noticeable. A far greater cause of colour problems is cheap photo paper. You should also ensure that you're monitor is correctly set up. Use the test card, here: http://www.reeddesign.co.uk/testcard.htm
(If you can't see the numbers 0 to 10 clearly on both lines, you shouldn't even consider printing anything until you've adjusted your monitor settings)
