egg timer on pc

My friend is having trouble trying to get on to certain websites. The egg timer comes on as if it is going to redirect her but then nothing happens. Is it something on her settings that need changing ?

go to start...control panel....internet options and check out the settings that come up..You may have set the "Nanny" to too high a setting
