Out of the top of your head, do you know what the host server name is if your are on Virgin Blueyonder broadband?

I thought it was Pop3 but that is not the right one!

pop3 is the protocol

t's going to be something on the lines of mail.blueyonder.co.uk
I'm not sure which server you require.

Incoming (POP3) mail server:
pop3.blueyonder.co.uk

Outgoing (SMTP) mail server:
smtp.blueyonder.co.uk.

Webspace server:
ftp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

Thanks for your help. I never made my question clear but I was trying to set up my microsoft email.

I just changed outgoing to smtp and have managed to send a test email to a hotmail email address but sending a reply it failed? What is the in-coming address do you think please?

p.s pop3 never worked as an in-coming server.
I have a Telewest account and the ones listed by Buenchico are correct (I use them):

Incoming (POP3) mail server:
pop3.blueyonder.co.uk

Outgoing (SMTP) mail server:
smtp.blueyonder.co.uk.
I'm rather confused by what you're doing but, as VHG and I have both stated, your incoming mail server is pop3.blueyonder.co.uk

Thanks for your help folks. It is as what you said but it only lets me send mail out not receive it. I am giving up for today and when I feel like trying again I will do.

It is only Windows mail and not Outlook so it doesn't look that good anyway.
