how do i download ring tones to my mobile

the question is:-
1.what phone have you got/does it have a memory card if u need one.
2.can u download music onto it
3.if u can there should be a software disc with it.
once the software of the phone has been downloaded it should create a short cut on your desk top.

step 2:-
1.who do u download your music with/or should i say,your downloaded music is usually stored in my docs-my music.
2.if it is connect your phone to your comp--dbl click your desktop shortcut for the icon for your phone,and you should have column with my docs,my pics etc.
3.click onto my docs/my music or wherever it is stored,,click onto the ringtone/or sound you want-drag it into the right column-press transfer.
4.this should then transfer it to your phone
