got a wireless 4 port router and i,m having trouble setting it up. we,ve followed the instructions that come with the cd but the ethernet light go red instead of green. the old router works fine but the shop reckons it not the router?

Not sure what you mean by the ethernet light. Most 4 port routers would have 4 ethernet lights (one for each port) a power light, an ADSL light and a wireless Lan light.
Why not tell us the make and model of the router, it would make it much easier to help you!

its zoom adsland i meant to say the red internet on the front of the machine goes red not green
