mouseless keyboard

im thinking of buying a mouseless keyboard, the kind you get with laptops where you just use your fingers to guide it(hope that makes sense!) has anybody got one for a pc and are they any good instead of the standard kind? thanks

Gosh! I hate that way of moving around with just the touch pad.

I use a mouse with my laptop.

I love the trackpad on my laptop - it takes working at to understand how to use it properly, but it's great.

However, I do still have to use a mouse for one particular programme

I use a mousepad and get on just fine
It can be awkward to use if you do online gaming so for that I plug in a mouse (very easy just plug and go) but for everyhting else it seems weird when I do use a mouse

Well, I really do suggest you try a touchpad out before you commit yourself by paying money for something you might not like at all.

Don't you know somebody who has a laptop who would be prepared to let you have a try first?

lets just say h'm sitting here at a laptop now with a touchpad thats switched of and a mouse plugged into it.

I can use them perfectly OK but much prefer a mouse.

May just be a conditioning thing and it's because it's what I'm used to, do you know anyone with a laptop so you can try a touchpad.

yes ive tried one but still not sure if id like a touchpad in the long run, just thought id ask for some opinions
