ASUS EEE Connecting to Wireless Router
I received my asus eee 4g surf a couple of days ago and have been trying to connect to the net via my sky wireless router.
The asus can see the wireless connection at 100%- i enter my network key and channel info then receive a message saying -
No DHCP offers received.
No working leases in persistent database- sleeping. run-parts-- verbose/etc/network/if-up.d
I am using windows XP on my main pc- also connected to the router and also have norton installed on my desktop.
Can anyone help please- its driving me crazy & I can't get in touch with anyone from asus!

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=No+DHCP+offer s+received.+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mo zilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a
If you can't find your answer after wading through that lot, consider:
changing your security to WEP
checking your router is not set to allow only one connection
that your MAC filter is disabled
that your SSID broadcast is enabled
Have you tried connecting to to the router via ethernet cable? If not, switch everything off, connect up and switch everything back on again. That can sometimes be enough for the router and pc to recognise each other.
