copy and paste to forum

i used to be able to type a reply to a forum in microsoft works word the copy and paste it into the forum. all of a sudden i am no longer able to do this and i was wondering if any of you know why. i have not changed any settings at all but i have noticed that i have sp3 now where as it was sp2 ( service pack) before, could this be the reason ?

I have copied and pasted this from Microsoft Works Word without problems. I too have Windows XP with SP 3 so that can�t be the problem

Can you copy from Word and not paste, or not copy at all?

i type something in word and change the font, size and colour then i can copy it but when i go to paste it in the forum i use it appears in normal font ( times new roman) and in black.

So you can copy and paste, you just lose the format.

There is nothing you can do about that - it is the forum settings that have changed, probably to keep posts standard.

its not the end of the world but it is annoying as other members can still do it. thanks for you help anyway.

If other members can do it, I am obviously wrong.

One thing that springs to mind is the font you are using. Try a more common font. If you send me an attachment in a font that isn't installed on my pc, it will use a default font - Times New Roman.

This could be what is happening in the forum.
