Has anyone else picked up adware on here?
Ysterday whilst on here i must have clicked to allow a pop up .
Dont ask me what it was , but it installed xp antivirus2008 .Now it may be that because i have xp on this pc that ive clicked on the box and been tricked into installing it .
Once installed you get a screen message saying you have adware run antivirus.But macafeee cannot remove it .
Once on its a nightmare.
After a good hour i managaged to install malwarebytes antimalware .
This took over an hour to scan the the pc and finally remove the adware.

I did get warningsrecently saying v ab wasnt a secure site regarding adware and popups , only recently tho , on my macafeee site advisor.

So if you get any adware problemsid recommend malwarebytes antimalware , and its a freee download if you google.

Unless anyone can suggest a better one to use ?
