why does this happen

my husband plays on the poker sites and uses sports betting sites - - however they keep freezing or losing connection.
It only happens on these sites none of the ones i go on
i have spoken to the sites offices and they dont seem to know the answer either, we have a gaming computer which is meant to be designed for these types of games

it doesnt seem to be our interenet conncection because when the sites crash my husband tried to open a new internet explorer page and that worked

please help no one seems to know what to do
