Page set up & Printer

For years, I have printed out an order from internet on Lexmark printer and then printed out an address label on Brother P-touch with no problem as to having to tell computer XP which is which. In the last two days, It has decided that it will try and print an A4 sheet on the Label Printer and then when I change it to Lexmark it prints Postcard size in Landscape. So now, before attempting to print order I have to use page set-up for A4 Portrait.

Computer had new hard disc a week ago but this has happened in last two days. How can I get computed to go back to the way it used to work?

Start/Settings/Printers and faxes

Right-click the Brother and choose Printing Preferences
Go to the Paper tab and select the paper size that you want to use as the default
Click OK

Repeat as above for the Lexmark
