start up prog list
where do i find out the programmes that start up when I switch my computer on so i can remove some from the list.

If you're referring to the programmes that load up and show up in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop, then press start (bottom left hand corner), then press run.
Now type: msconfig.
Click on the start up tab and it will show you a list of programmes that load up when your pc starts, which you can deselect by removing the green arrow next to it.
