Just searching on the net, and every site, even the BBC news has a message appear saying: This site may harm your computer. Whats going on??

We've been out all afternoon, but don't seem to have any problems with Google, etc., since we came back in.

This isnt a virus google had a virus but that was a trojan and it was sorted this is a fault/scam whatever, that keeps sending you to that notice instead of the actual site. Its dead simple to solve go to control panel, delete all cookies and temporary internet files and it should then be back to normal as youve removed the link to it. Ive swore at my pc all afternoon and my youngest lad sorted it in 5 minutes lol Be good idea to run virus scan anyway as google did have a virus according to BBC.

It's nothing to do with a virus or anything else.

Google for a while now has been compiling a blacklist of bad websites. Scam websites, etc.

Someone messed up with their code, and ended up marking all websites in their system as possible scam websites. It was rectified very soon though.
